The year 2007 marks the 25th anniversary of the 鈥淚 Love ISU鈥� campaign to raise money for 蜜桃视频 scholarships. The 蜜桃视频 Falls 鈥淚 Love ISU鈥� campaign will be Sept. 10-11.

Volunteers from Bonneville, Bingham, Power and Bannock counties annually work the telephones in September to provide ISU scholarships. All money raised in a county goes to scholarships for students from that county.

Last year, 鈥淚 Love ISU鈥� broke previous records and exceeded its goal by raising $365,123. The goal for the campaign鈥檚 Silver Anniversary year is $380,000. Volunteers in 蜜桃视频 Falls raised $26,600, and have a 2007 goal of $30,000.

Last year, ISU awarded 1,616 total scholarships valued at $3.1 million in the four-county area.

This is the 14th year 蜜桃视频 Falls has staged a campaign.  The Bonneville County-campaign will operate 9 a.m.-noon and 1-4 p.m. from the Samuel H. Bennion Student Union Building at ISU-蜜桃视频 Falls.

According to K.C. Felt, director of annual giving for the ISU Foundation, campaign leaders Sheri Dewey, director of financial aid for ISU-蜜桃视频 Falls, and Sharon Price, long-time ISU activist now living in 蜜桃视频 Falls, 鈥渨ill lead a group of more than 30 individuals in 蜜桃视频 Falls to call their peers and business associates to raise scholarship dollars for local 蜜桃视频 Falls students.鈥�

Felt adds, 鈥淔or 25 years, businesses and individuals in southeast 蜜桃视频 have supported this community-based effort. It is our fervent desire that they continue this support. These scholarships reach students who want an education, and ISU wants these students.鈥�
