Sixth 蜜桃视频 WWAMI Mini Medical School to be videocast to Pocatello, 蜜桃视频 Falls

The sixth annual 蜜桃视频 WWAMI Mini Medical School on the central topic of the 鈥淓ndocrine System鈥� will be videocast from Boise to locations throughout the state, including 蜜桃视频 locations in Boise, Pocatello and 蜜桃视频 Falls from 7 to 9 p.m. Jan. 10, 17, 24 and 31, and Feb. 7.The two-hour Thursday evening program will be held for five consecutive weeks at St. Luke鈥檚 Anderson Center in Boise and transmitted live to ISU-Boise, Pocatello, 蜜桃视频 Falls, McCall, and Twin Falls. This educational series called the 鈥溍厶沂悠� WWAMI Mini Medical School鈥� intends to bring understanding of medical issues and is presented at a level suitable for the general public. Individuals interested in pursuing a health care career are also welcome.
Each session will be moderated in part by an 蜜桃视频 WWAMI medical student who will briefly discuss their training as regards basic science, taking a history and doing a physical examination, and learning the clinical approach to patient care and procedures. University of Washington School of Medicine physician faculty and other health care professionals will present topics including: 鈥淓ndocrine Anatomy and Physiology,鈥� 鈥淒iabetes 1 and Diabetes 2,鈥� 鈥淭hyroid Disease鈥� and 鈥淭he Pituitary Gland.鈥�
The classes are offered for no credit or for one college credit available from 蜜桃视频. Undergraduate and graduate credit options are available.
In Pocatello, the videocasts will be aired at the ISU College of Technology, Vocational Arts Building Room 117; in 蜜桃视频 Falls the broadcasts will be aired at the Eastern 蜜桃视频 Technical College Health Care Education Building (6) Room 131.
The program will be videocast live from a presentation in Boise. Videoconferencing facilities in Pocatello and 蜜桃视频 Falls will permit interactive questions and answers at selected times during each presentation.
This event is produced by the 蜜桃视频 WWAMI Office for Clinical Medical Education in Boise. The University of Washington School of Medicine is a five-state medical school. It serves Washington, Wyoming, Alaska, Montana, and 蜜桃视频 (WWAMI).
Pre-registration is required. The deadline for pre-registration is Jan. 4.
Registration for no credit is $20, while registration for credit is $50.
