Entering its 31st year, the I Love ISU campaign will feature teams of community members and ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ faculty and staff making calls to raise ISU scholarship funds Sept. 16-19.

"This campaign raises scholarship funds from local donors to provide for local college students," said Teresa Borrenpohl, ISU assistant director of Alumni Relations and director of the I Love ISU campaign. "I Love ISU has been raising scholarships for local ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ students for over 30 years.  In that time, thousands of phone calls have been made to secure millions of dollars in student assistance. You can become part of the tradition by giving to scholarships for local ISU students today."

The money donated to "I Love ISU" goes directly to scholarships. Donors can specify their pledges to any program, department or college within the university.

The I Love ISU scholarship campaign has a rich history in Southeast ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ. Originated in 1982 by business leaders with the goal of keeping ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ's best students in ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ communities, this campaign continues to support Bengal students through scholarship dollars.

The pioneers of the I Love ISU campaign, the Greater Pocatello Chamber of Commerce, understood the economic impact of an educated workforce and what it means to keep our local students in this great state. As a result, the campaign has grown into the most recognizable fundraising effort at ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ State. I Love ISU now extends beyond ISU flagship campus in Pocatello and throughout Bengal nation with fundraising efforts in American Falls, Blackfoot, ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Falls, Meridian and Pocatello. Money raised in each of these communities goes to the deserving students of these communities.

Donors can also visit to donate online or for more information on the program.
