ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ’s Meg Long-Woodhouse to serve on ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ Board of Dentistry

ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ Gov. Butch Otter has appointed ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ dental hygienist Meg Long-Woodhouse to a five-year term on the ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ Board of Dentistry.

Meg Long-WoodhouseLong-Woodhouse, who has taught at ISU since 1991, is a clinical associate professor in the Department of Dental Hygiene. She is licensed to practice in ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ and Oregon and is affiliated with the ISU Pocatello Family Dental Residency and ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ Advanced General Dentistry program.

A 1978 graduate of ISU’s dental hygiene program, she was honored in spring 2014 with an ISU Alumni Professional Achievement Award, representing the Division of Health Sciences. Long-Woodhouse also serves on the board of the Pocatello Free Clinic.

The ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ Board of Dentistry consists of five dentists, two registered dental hygienists and a consumer advocate familiar with health care professions. Their role is to help oversee the practice of dentistry and dental hygiene in ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ.
