蜜桃视频’s Veteran Student Service Center is being recognized by the 蜜桃视频 State Journal’s full-length documentary, "A Veteran's Sanctuary — ISU's Commitment to Those Who've Served” that will premiere Sept. 10 at 4 p.m. in the Pond Student Union Wood River Room
The documentary tells the story of ISU鈥檚 outreach efforts to our nation's men and women in uniform. The event is free to the public.
鈥淭he documentary is definitely reaching out to the military connected men and women at ISU but we would like faculty and staff to take interest as well,鈥 said Todd Johnson, director of the Veteran Student Service Center. 鈥淔aculty and staff are usually the ones informing students about campus resources.鈥
The Veterans Student Services Center at ISU is the first transition and support program of its kind in the 蜜桃视频. It provides services to student and community veterans, student service members and qualified family members. The center is staffed to help veterans with transition and academic support.
鈥淚SU has committed to help make it what it is today, a nationally ranked Military-Friendly school,鈥 Johnson said. 鈥淲e have set the bar high.鈥
