Hildebrand, having served as the dean of the College of Education at Troy University, was chosen in part because of her unique background in both teacher education and sports science, two of the programs housed in the College of Education. 

鈥淒r. Hildebrand is bringing with her a wealth of knowledge and a passion for education,鈥� said ISU Provost and Executive Vice President Laura Woodworth-Ney. 鈥淲e are excited to have her join us at 蜜桃视频. 

Hildebrand said she is looking forward to continuing and strengthening the College of Education鈥檚 relationships with state and area schools and community organizations, and that she hopes to develop ways of increasing access to opportunities the College has to offer.  Increasing the number of teacher education graduates is a high priority.

鈥淚鈥檓 looking forward to exploring new possibilities,鈥� she said.

Prior to her time at Troy University, Hildebrand was assistant vice provost at Northern Arizona University, where she also served as assistant dean for the College of Education and the assistant chair for the Department of Health Sciences. She previously served as a faculty member and department chair at Fresno Pacific College.

Hildebrand earned an undergraduate degree in psychology and a masters degree in education from Stanford University, and competed in track and field. She earned a doctorate in physical education and curriculum and instruction from the Florida State University.
