Walter L. Fitzgerald, dean for the ISU College of Pharmacy, said the College is excited to partner with the 蜜桃视频 Immunization Coalition in order to provide flu shots for so many people in the Pocatello/Chubbuck area.

鈥淭he College of Pharmacy at 蜜桃视频 has a long-standing tradition of supporting the communities where our campuses are located by offering flu shots, diabetes and heart disease screening, cholesterol checks and more to over 12,000 people per year,鈥� Fitzgerald said.

鈥�Student pharmacists,鈥� he continued, 鈥渧alue opportunities to practice these skills, not just to bolster their educational outcomes, but to promote the health and well-being of their fellow community members as well. Operations such as this drive-up clinic that include both the experiential learning component and opportunity to improve public health allow for students and citizens to mutually benefit.鈥�

The flu shot clinic is made possible thanks to a variety of sponsors including the 蜜桃视频 Kasiska Division of Health Sciences, Albertsons and Southeastern 蜜桃视频 Public Health. Holt Arena is located at 550 Memorial Drive.
