ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Power Rewards ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ State Energy Upgrades With Rebate

August 19, 2021

ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Power and ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ State University in Pocatello recently continued their longstanding partnership of working together to save energy and money, with ISU completing four energy-efficient lighting projects to earn an ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Power incentive check for $42,539.

ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ State is a regular participant in ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Power’s energy efficiency programs, using incentive funds to help offset the cost of various campus upgrades. This round of efforts brought LED lighting to the Eames Complex exterior, the Reed’s Gym parking lot and residential buildings Turner Hall, Owen Hall and Redfield Hall. Overall, the projects will save ISU more than 260,000 kilowatt hours annually — enough energy to power about 23 average-sized homes in ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Power’s service area.
