Angie Dangerfield Selected as Associate Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer

Following a nationwide search, Angie Dangerfield has been selected as ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ's next Associate Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer. Angie will begin her new role on September 15, 2025.

A nationwide search for this key leadership position was launched earlier this summer which generated a highly competitive applicant pool that included experienced HR leaders from across the country, including seasoned leaders in higher education. Throughout the search process, Dangerfield demonstrated that she is an exceptionally skilled and experienced leader for ISU and ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ higher education.

Dangerfield brings nearly 20 years of experience in higher education, including valuable experience at the University of Utah, Montana State University, and at ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ, into this role. She has especially proven herself to be an invaluable member of the HR leadership team since 2022, providing strategic leadership in compensation programs and talent acquisition.

"Since Angie arrived at ISU in 2015, she has proven herself to be a strategic partner and leader who has established highly constructive and productive working relationships with faculty, staff, deans, and other key stakeholders," said Brian Sagendorf, vice president for campus operations. "Angie has demonstrated she is the right leader to continue the upward trajectory of the HR department as we continually seek to modernize and enhance HR programs while continuing to energize and strengthen our University community.

Congratulations to Angie as she begins this role as ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ's next Associate Vice President and Chief HR Officer.
