Notice of Fall Fire Evacuation Drills

Welcome to the new semester! As part of our commitment to preparedness and campus safety, fire evacuation drills are conducted on each campus. The number of evacuation drills per year varies based on building occupancy. For example, our facility in Meridian practices evacuation drills each month in conjunction with Renaissance High School. Campus apartments and residence halls practice four times a year. All other buildings conduct an evacuation annually.

Beginning Tuesday, September 2, Public Safety will begin conducting the annual evacuation drills for buildings located in Pocatello and ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Falls. Evacuations will continue throughout each day until Thursday, September 11. The evacuation schedule and instructions are available on our website

Please use the campus map to identify your building’s . This map is readily available on our website and can be accessed through the FREE Rave Guardian Safety App. Rave Guardian offers exceptional services and critical information that effectively protect our community.

Here are some friendly reminders if you are teaching, working, or attending an event and hear the fire alarm:

  2. Assist students and visitors to the campus through the process by encouraging them to follow you to the exit.

  5. Use the to locate the closest assembly point to your building.
  6. Wait at the assembly area for instructions, and do not re-enter the building until you are told to.
