Out of the Darkness Walk Set September 13

September 10, 2025

All are invited to the Out of the Darkness Community Walk in Pocatello—a meaningful opportunity to walk together, raise awareness, support mental health, honor loved ones, and stand against suicide. The event will take place on Saturday, September 13, at the ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Campus Quad. Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m., with the walk kicking off at 9 a.m.

Why walk?

  • Raise awareness and support efforts to prevent suicide.
  • Fundraise and earn rewards—raise $150 or more by Walk Day to receive the official Out of the Darkness t-shirt, or go beyond $250 to unlock an additional gift
  • Reconnect and heal—on-site activities include hope-and-healing experiences, honor beads, mental health resources, and more.

Getting involved is easy—there’s no registration fee to attend. Whether you walk solo, create a team, or join as a volunteer, your presence makes a difference. Questions or want to volunteer? Reach out to Tammy English at tenglish@afsp.org or call 779-351-9583.
