Office for Research Welcomes Emma Fox-Fogle

Emma Fox-Fogle is the Project Coordinator for Research and the ASSERT program within the Office of Research Development. She provides project support to faculty, ensuring efficient coordination and communication for major research activities across all ISU campuses. With a focus on building institutional capacity for research excellence, Fox-Fogle is working on a new faculty development program in collaboration with the EPSCoR I-CREWS grant. Drawing on a strong foundation in research, program coordination, and stakeholder engagement, she is committed to the development of an inclusive and impactful research environment.

Previously, Fox-Fogle worked as a statistician with the USDA’s National Agricultural Statistics Service, where her role involved coordinating with diverse stakeholders and supporting large-scale data analysis projects.

She holds a Master of Science in Biology from West Virginia University and a Bachelor of Science in Ecology from the University of Wyoming. With her interdisciplinary training and experience in both research and operations, she brings valuable insight to collaborative, data-driven work.

Outside of the office, she enjoys bird watching, hiking, and a plethora of craft projects (stained glass, pottery, watercolor, crochet).
