BOISE—ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ awarded a record number of degrees in the Treasure Valley at commencement May 7 at the Boise Centre, and counseling student Carmen French was recognized as the top honoree for the 2018 ISU-Meridian Student Excellence Award.

ISU ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ Museum of Natural History prehistoric bison skull to be transported to exhibit in South Dakota

POCATELLO – The ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ Museum of Natural History will loan a large, prehistoric bison skull  to the Mammoth Site of Hot Springs, South Dakota on May 12-13.

POCATELLO – A total of 2,427 graduates received 2,566 degrees and certificates during ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ’s spring commencement ceremonies held May 5 in Holt Arena where graduates were encouraged to continue their quests for knowledge and to appreciate those who helped them succeed.

ISU's Jillian Christiansen successfully uses dual-enrollment program advantage; graduates with two degrees in two years

POCATELLO – In 2016, Jillian Christiansen graduated with her high school diploma from Renaissance High School, in Meridian, and her Associate of Arts degree from ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ. Christiansen is one of many students who have participated in ISU’s dual-enrollment program at Renaissance High School. She will graduate in May with two bachelor’s degrees, one in political science and one in international studies.

POCATELLO - The overuse of opioids is an area of significant concern for a multitude of organizations and agencies across the state of ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ, the United States, and even the world. Those in the healthcare professions at ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ (ISU) are working to be a part of the solution by conducting research, making changes to their curriculum, and encouraging partnerships with other groups who are working toward the same goal: combating the ever growing opioid epidemic.

ISU English Professor Brian Attebery selected to serve as visiting professor at the University of Glasgow
