Revolutionizing Research: ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ State’s Rare Instrument Opens New Frontiers in Science

There are three machines of its kind in the world: One is at the Louvre Museum in France, one is at Cranfield University in the United Kingdom, and one is custom built and newly installed right here on the ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ Pocatello campus in the Center for Archaeology, Materials, and Applied Spectroscopy (CAMAS) Lab  at the Eames Complex.

ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ (ISU) and Umpqua Community College (UCC) in Roseburg, Oregon, are partnering to support rural communities by providing an opportunity for students to pursue a bachelor’s degree in social work without leaving their local area.
